YOUR DOG'S HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME

BOARDING at woodcrest kennel

We offer state of the art accommodations and care for your pets, in a facility designed for their safety and comfort. Our new facility features a variety of indoor/outdoor runs, a grooming room, a crate room with a raised bathtub, and a reception area, all equipped with a full wash-down system. Runs are heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer.  Our hospital grade air filtration system turns the air over in the kennel every 4-7 minutes, allowing for an unparalleled environment to keep your dog comfortable and safe.

REQUIREMENTS
For dogs new to the facility, we require a trial day of DAYCARE to ensure your dog is safe for all staff to handle as well as to see that they feel safe in our facility! If you are planning a stay of 14 days or longer for your dog, and they have never stayed with us before, we may ask for a trial BOARDING night to allow your dog to feel as comfortable as possible before a longer stay.

We have four sizes of runs:

Small: 3′ x 6′ indoor, 3′ x 12′ outdoor

Medium: 4′ x 6′ indoor, 4′ x 12′ outdoor

Large: 5′ x 6′ indoor, 5′ x 12′ outdoor

Extra Large: 7′ x 6′ indoor, 7′ x 12′ outdoor

Indoor runs are 6.5′ tall, and outdoor runs are 8′ tall, with fiberglass barriers for soundproofing and hygiene.

Outdoor runs are covered, and large garage doors open when weather permits. Indoor runs are ventilated with fans, an HVAC system, and air exchange, ensuring air is refreshed 8 times per hour. Skylights provide natural light.

Pets receive elevated beds, fleece bedding, and toys in exercise pens, with fresh water available at all times.

We welcome special needs dogs, including older pets, diabetics, injured pets, and those needing extra care. These pets stay in the reception area or grooming room for added attention and supervision, with medication administered as instructed by owners or veterinarians.

All dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations and have negative fecal results form within the last 12 months. Proof is required. Please review our Vaccination Policy.

FAQ's

What To Expect at Woodcrest Kennel LLC

  • WHAT IS THE MAX TIME MY DOG CAN STAY?

Woodcrest Kennel has no stated maximum or minimum time your pup is allowed to stay.  All that we ask is stays are planned in advance so we can properly manage our bookings for other clients.

  • IS THERE A WAITLIST AT WOODCREST?

Often times in the busiest times of the year (Spring Break, summer months, fall Holiday season) we will be running at full capacity.  We do our best to accommodate, but often times we run a waitlist during these times.  Planning in advance so your slot is secured is always recommended!

  • IS THERE A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?

Deposits are required depending on the length of stay and how many dogs you are boarding.  Please give us a call if you have questions specific to your stay and we will accommodate however we can.

  • CAN I BRING MY OWN DOG FOOD, DOG DISHES AND DOG TOYS?

Dog food is included with each dogs stay, however you are more than welcome to provide your own.  We feed Purina Pro Plan.  Dog toys are also more than welcome! When it comes to dishes, we provide dishes and they are sanitized after every feeding.  We take sanitation very seriously, so one of the controls we have is on feeding dishes.

  • CAN MY DOGS BOARD TOGETHER?

Absolutely! We have some larger kennels that can easily accommodate more than 1 dog, especially if your dogs prefer to be together.  This can vary based on availability, but we always do our best to accommodate this request.
