Vaccination Policy
Summary of Requirements- Rabies (in accordance with your state's law)
- Canine Distemper/Parvo Yearly (until 3 years of age)
- Canine Distemper/Parvo Every 3 Years (after 4 years of age)
- Bordatella (Kennel Cough) Every 6 Months
We do NOT accept Titers. It is the OWNER's responsibility to provide Proof of Vaccination at EACH stay.
NOTICE: We have updated our previous policy from 2004. The only change from our previous policy is that we will now accept the parvo vaccine every three years after the dog reaches four years of age instead of yearly. This means that your three year distemper/parvo vaccine is acceptable by our requirements without additional boosting of the parvo vaccine yearly.

Dear Valued Client,
In light of ongoing debate regarding vaccinations and their duration of immunity, we at Woodcrest Kennel LLC have consulted with several area veterinarians and have updated our vaccination requirements. This policy is for the safety of your pet and will allow us to continue to offer the added benefit of playgroups and outdoor playtime.
This policy change will take effect on March 31, 2008.
Only puppies over 12 weeks old are allowed to enter our facility. Puppies must have had a MINIMUM of:
· All 3 of their puppy Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo & Parainfluenza Vaccines (Boosted again at 1 year of age)
· Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Every Six (6) Months
· Rabies (in accordance with your state law)
All dogs THREE (3) years of age or younger are required to be vaccinated with a MINIMUM of:
· Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo & Parainfluenza Yearly
· Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Every Six (6) Months
· Rabies (in accordance with your state law)
All dogs FOUR (4) years of age and older are required to be vaccinated with a MIMIMUM of:
· Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo & Parainfluenza Every Three (3) Years
· Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Every Six (6) Months
· Rabies (in accordance with your state law)
NO VACCINATION TITERS ARE ACCEPTED - WITHOUT EXCEPTION!
In addition, vaccinations MUST be presented to Woodcrest Kennel LLC on a official COMPUTER GENERATED VACCINATION CERTIFICATE (generic or hand written vaccination certificates will not be accepted, NO EXCEPTIONS!) from a licensed veterinarian and MUST include:
· All vaccinations required for your pets age
· Date the vaccines were given
· Your veterinarians signature
If your pet has an immune mediated disease that prohibits these vaccinations you must present to Woodcrest Kennel LLC a letter, written by your veterinarian on his/her hospital letterhead including their signature, regarding your pet’s health condition and the medical reasons why vaccinations are contraindicated for that health condition.
