FAQ14. Can I come visit the puppies?

A. We do not allow visitors to see the puppies until they are 3-4 weeks old. After that time you are welcome to come see the puppies. When you visit you will meet the Airedale Mother, you may have met her already, and be able to see how/where the puppies are being raised for yourself. We do require that you schedule an appointment in order to avoid conflicts with our work schedule, dog shows, etc. We try to only schedule one visit during any day. The best time for us is usually about 1pm. Weekdays and weekends are usually fine.

Service Testimonials

"All three of my dogs require grooming. Every time they go to Jay's, their tails are wagging. It's a pleasant experience for them. Jay has enormous patience and gets to know each dog as an individual...its likes and dislikes. He cleans their ears even when I don't tell him, and cuts their nails when he thinks they need it. We call it the 'dog hotel!'" -Nancy Snyder

Puppy Testimonials

"Thank you Jay, Colleen, and Rose for our dear companion Bingley. We’ve had Airedales for fifteen years; he is just the most handsome, smartest Airedale Kathy and I have known. Bingley is blessed with world class confirmation, a hard wiry coat of deep red, and great movement. None of that matters as much as his awesome temperament, excellent health, and mischievous terrier nature. He mixes easily with all creatures big and small fur or fowl.  Your honesty, genuine caring, and welcoming attitude make us feel part of the Woodcrest family." -Kathy, David, & Bingley Rand

Heart of a Champion

Earlier in the summer we shared about a very special photo shoot for a Here in Hanover magazine article we were a part of. The article is finally out and I am just stunned at how great it turned out. Katharine Britton is the author of this beautiful 6 page spread that goes so far beyond describing what goes into showing dogs to create a striking narrative that warms the heart, or at least it warms mine. The title says it all, “Heart of a Champion.”
