*Staying Connected is a directory for businesses and organizations that service the Rivendell Interstate School district towns of Orford, NH, Fairlee, West Fairlee, Vershire, VT and the surrounding area. It is published by Rivendell Academy High School students and mailed to area homes and businesses. Students learn real workplace skills through production of the Directory: Marketing & Sales, Communications, Bookkeeping, Graphic Design, Printing Technology. They use industry-standard software to create the book, and participate in its printing and finishing at Dartmouth Printing in Hanover, NH.

Footlighters at the Fringe Auction

*The Hanover High School theater group, the Footlighters, has been selected to perform at the 2006 Fringe Festival, in Edinburgh, Scotland. They were chosen from nearly 500 nominated schools, of which only about 30 are invited to attend. Hanover High School is the first public high school in New Hampshire to have been selected for this honor. Due to considerable cost, the school cannot fund the trip which will cost $4228 per student. The Hanover High School Footlighters are planning an exciting auction to raise funds to make possible their production at the Fringe Festival. The auction will be held on Saturday evening, May 6, 2006 at 7pm at the Dartmouth Outing Club on Occum Pond.
